Mary Droppinz lives by a simple truth: music is an out of body experience.

Her eclectic sound travels all over the dance spectrum and takes listeners on a journey across genres seamlessly blending breaks, bass, UKG, electro, house, techno, acid, DnB, and hip-hop all in one set displaying that everything is about energy. Droppinz fascination with rhythm began when growing up in her native Omaha, Nebraska as a result of her father’s seasoned skills as a drummer. She carried that musical influence all the way to her current home of Los Angeles where she also went to production school at IO Academy.

Her technical skill whilst DJing has turned her into one of the strongest selectors in the US. Over the last year alone, she has played across the country and internationally taking on major stages like EDC, Red Rocks, Amnesia Ibiza, Coachella, Lightning in a Bottle, Mission Ballroom, Greek Theater Berkeley, Brooklyn Mirage, Desert Hearts, and a residency at Discopussy in Las Vegas. Additionally, she has released exclusive mixes for Diplo’s Revolution on Sirius XM and LP Giobbi’s Femme House Radio.

Droppinz production’s are just as versatile as her DJ sets, Her combination of break beats and bass driven tracks have become recognizable to listeners almost immediately and landed her support from staple press outlets such as Forbes, Gray Area, Billboard, EDM.com, EDM Identity, Magnetic Mag and The Hollywood Times. In the last four years since she started releasing music, some of her original tracks on Spotify have over half a million streams. Her discography includes a release on HARD Recs, 3x EP’s on Zeds Dead’s Altered States, remixes for Justin Martin, LP Giobbi, Deekline & FreQ Nasty, and Joluca. She has received support from the likes of Hiroko Yamamura, Zeds Dead, Skrillex, REZZ, Skream, Tape B, SOFI TUKKER, Lee Foss, John Summit,Mikey Lion, Mija, and Justin Jay. The talented producer and DJ’s mission is to educate people about different sounds in electronic music, create a safe environment that transcends the dance floor, and truly connect those experiencing it to each other and the music.
